The world's second largest share of parts for optical cables (connectors). Participating in the realization of next-generation optical communication standards with our unique optical connection technology for the realization of sustainable optical communication networks.

The future optical communication network "IOWN" concept led by NTT, Intel, Sony, etc.

Companies already related to the industry (NEC, Fujitsu, Toyota)
More than 80 companies are participating in the industry group (Aion Global Forum) to realize the Aion concept.

The key is Photonics-Electronics-Convergence technology developed by NTT.
It is an epoch-making technology that enables IC chips that exchange electric signals to operate with optical signals.

As a background, there is an increase in data centers due to rapid data consumption demand due to the corona disaster.
Furthermore, artificial intelligence and virtual reality are under development in the future, and there is a possibility that the amount of data will increase to an unprecedented level.

As the amount of data increases, the amount of data handled increases, and as a result, the number of data centers increases.
The optical connector part "MT Ferrule" that we deal with is used in the data center.

Behind the scenes, however, there is the problem of ever-increasing power consumption.
This is caused by heat dissipation in the electrical cables that exchange electrical signals between server devices.

Therefore, Aion, which aims to use as many optical signals as possible, may be able to solve that problem.

Therefore, we believe that we can apply our optical connection technology, which supports the optical communication technology that will become even more necessary in the future.
I decided to participate in the Aion concept.

Specifically, we are considering heat-resistant ceramic MT Ferrule.

We would like to use our technology to contribute to making people's lives more sustainable.
