Local manufacturing supporting the world's communication infrastructure. Aiming for a cycle where people and industries gather in the region, starting with the growth and happiness of the people who work there.

Hakusan Inc. is strengthening its recruitment efforts across a wide range of positions, including manufacturing, technology development, sales, and management, to meet the growing demand for optical communication-related products driven by the proliferation of generation AI and cloud services.
Under the principle of "people-centric management," we strive to create an environment where each employee is respected, can demonstrate their strengths, and can take on challenges without fear of failure. We believe that this accumulation of efforts will produce world-class quality and technology, and will contribute to leaving behind industry and employment in the region.

People develop. Technology advances. The region becomes stronger.

High-value-added manufacturing originating from local communities, supporting global communications.

Hakusan 's flagship product, the "MT Ferrule," is a precision component that connects 125μm diameter optical fibers with high accuracy. This tiny component, approximately 1cm in size, requires submicron-level precision and is used in optical communication networks worldwide, including data centers supporting AI generation and cloud services.

This level of precision cannot be achieved with equipment alone. It involves interpreting measurement results, adjusting molding conditions and molds, assessing quality, and improving processes. Each and every decision and innovation made on-site supports world-class manufacturing.
Based in Ishikawa and Saitama prefectures, we support the world's telecommunications infrastructure. The opportunity to live locally while taking on global challenges is a major draw of working in Hakusan.

"Investing in people" to support business expansion

In June 2026, Hakusan announced plans to construct a second factory (tentative name) in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, with a total investment of approximately 5 billion yen, aiming for operation around April 2028. This will expand the scale to approximately 1.5 times the current number of equipment units, strengthening the mass production and stable supply system for "T MT Ferrule," next-generation optical connector components for AI data centers.

Furthermore, through multi-source agreements with US Conec and SANWA Technologies, we will play a key role in the global supply chain. In addition to capital investment, we are simultaneously investing in human resources that support our business, including those in manufacturing, technology development, production support, sales, and management.

"Human-centric management" – growth starting with people.

Hakusan 's "people-centric management" philosophy aims to bring happiness to everyone involved, including employees, customers, partners, and the local community and society. Yonekawa repeatedly asks, "How can we make the people in front of us happy?" As a starting point, the company prioritizes creating an environment where employees can work with peace of mind, showcase their strengths, and take on challenges without hesitation.

- We listen to opinions regardless of age or length of service, and entrust young employees with work from an early stage.
- Don't unilaterally dismiss failures, but instead use challenges and learning experiences to drive future growth.
- Through semi-annual interviews, support for obtaining qualifications, and cross-departmental dialogue, we help each individual develop their strengths.

Comment from Tatsuya Yonekawa, CEO & President
"What I always think about is how I can make the people in front of me happy. At Hakusan, the first people I want to make happy are our employees. Unless our employees feel secure, can utilize their strengths, and can take on challenges, we cannot create products or services that delight our customers. Youth and experience are unique strengths of each individual. I want us to be a company where each person can take pride in the work they do that supports the world and where they can bring smiles to the faces of those around them."

Tatsuya Yonekawa CEO & President Hakusan Inc.

If there is industry in a region, people will gather.

The presence of high value-added manufacturing industries in a region creates not only employment opportunities, but also opportunities to learn new skills, challenging career paths, and the option to continue living in the area. It also provides a foundation for welcoming people who stay in the area, those who return, and those who move there for the first time.

Hakusan will increase the number of jobs in the region that connect to the global market through continuous domestic production and investment in human resources. People will gather, technology will accumulate, and both companies and the region will grow together. We will create this cycle starting from manufacturing.
