PFU BlueCats ISHIKAWA-KAHOKU has signed a sponsorship agreement.

Hakusan Inc., Ltd. has entered into a sponsorship agreement with PFU Life Agency Limited., which operates the women's volleyball team "PFU BlueCats ISHIKAWA-KAHOKU," and will support the club's activities.

As a result of this sponsorship agreement, our company logo will be displayed on the practice shirts worn by players during training sessions before official matches, starting September 1st.

Background of the Sponsorship Agreement

Our company will construct a second factory in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, with the aim of commencing operations around April 2028. Prior to the operation of the new factory, we have entered into this sponsorship agreement with the aim of building connections with the local community and fostering trust as a company rooted in the region.

Investing 5 billion yen in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, the "Second Plant" will start operation in April 2028 - Full-scale mass production of the next-generation "T MT Ferrule" to meet the rapidly growing demand for AI data centers - | Hakusan Inc.

PFU Blue Cats ISHIKAWA-KAHOKU, based in Kahoku City, will compete on the national stage, while Hakusan, which has established a new base in Kahoku City, will challenge the nation and the world from the local level. Based on the shared stance of both teams, Hakusan will support the activities of these teams and deepen its connection with the local community through sports.

Going forward, Hakusan will continue to value its interactions with local residents, schools, municipalities, and businesses, and contribute to regional revitalization and the promotion of sports.

PFU BlueCats ISHIKAWA-KAHOKU is a women's volleyball club based in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and belongs to the SV.LEAGUE WOMEN, the top women's volleyball league in Japan. Aiming to balance community-based activities with improving competitive performance, the team competes against strong teams nationwide, and in the 2025-26 season, they finished 3rd in the regular season and advanced to the semi-finals of the championship.
