Regarding the impact of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake on the Ishikawa factory (fifth report)

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and pray for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives.

We would like to notify you as follows as the fifth report as of January 18, 2024 regarding the effects of the recent earthquake whose epicenter was in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture.

The latest confirmed status at the Ishikawa Factory (Wakabadai, Shika-town, Hakui-gun), which is close to the epicenter, is as follows.

1. About restarting production
   After confirming the damage to the factory, we are currently undertaking restoration work with the goal of quickly resuming production. We aim to resume production of MT Ferrule, a component for multifiber optical connector, by the end of February.

We have received a lot of support and words of sympathy from our business partners. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude. thank you very much.

We will do our best to resume production as soon as possible and respond to your expectations, so we appreciate your continued understanding and support.
