Regarding the impact of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake on the Ishikawa Factory (4th report)

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and pray for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives.

We would like to notify you of the impact of the recent earthquake whose epicenter was in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, as of January 15, 2024, as follows.

The latest confirmed status at the Ishikawa Factory (Wakabadai, Shika-town, Hakui-gun), which is close to the epicenter, is as follows.

1. About electricity
   Electricity has been running inside the factory since the earthquake occurred on January 1, 2024. Currently, electricity can be used without any problems.
   
   
2. About water supply
   Water is cut off throughout Shiga Town. Water has started flowing in some areas due to leakage investigations, but there has been no concrete communication regarding the schedule for restoring drinking water. We have been informed that the industrial water supply is expected to be restored by the end of January. The local government is also planning to provide a temporary water supply until the area is restored. We are continuing to work with local governments to check the latest situation.
   
   
3. About the road
   Due to some improvements in road conditions leading to the factory, some transportation companies are now able to collect and deliver goods to the Ishikawa Factory.
   
   
4. Regarding production restoration
   After experts have confirmed the damage caused by this earthquake, we are preparing and responding to the restart of the factory.
   
   

We will take steps to resume production as soon as possible, so we appreciate your continued understanding and support.
