[Paper presentation] VSFF Multifiber connector presented at the 13th IEEE CPMT Symposium!

ICSJ2024 was held at Ritsumeikan University Suzaku Campus in Kyoto from November 13th (Wed) to 15th (Fri), 2024. Hakusan Inc. participated as a gold sponsor, exhibiting optical connection components and presenting papers.
What is ICSJ?
ICSJ is an international conference held every November in Kyoto, organized by the IEEE Electronics Packaging Society, as a forum for sharing the latest research and practice on electronic component and semiconductor packaging technology. This year, papers were presented, lectures were given, and exhibits were exhibited on the theme of "Advances in packaging technology for heterogeneous integration."
Main exhibition contents
Participating companies introduced their cutting-edge technologies, including those related to Co-Packaged Optics (optical connections and external laser light source; ELS) and semiconductor processing materials.


Contents of the conference
The lecture focused on cutting-edge packaging technologies that support the advancement of semiconductor technology, particularly this year's theme, "heterogeneous integration." This technology goes beyond the limits of the conventional "Moore's Law" (a method for improving semiconductor performance) and is an approach that diversifies new functions, and is considered important for cutting-edge technologies such as AI and high-performance computers.
A wide range of fields were also discussed, including optical photonics, advanced packaging processes, automotive electronics, and bioelectronics.
In addition, a poster session was held for young researchers.
This poster session is designed to provide a valuable platform for young researchers and doctoral students with less than two years of research experience to share their research findings with industry and academic experts.
