[COMNEXT] We exhibited at the international exhibition of next-generation communication technologies and solutions
The second COMNEXT Next Generation Communications Technology & Solutions Exhibition was held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, June 26th to Friday, June 28th, 2024.

What is COMNEXT?
COMNEXT is an international business exhibition that brings together visitors from all over the world seeking next-generation communications technologies and solutions.
A large number of products and technologies were exhibited, including 5G/6G communication technologies and materials, local 5G, edge AI/IoT solutions, optical communication technology, and video transmission.
This year marks the second time the event is being held.

State of the exhibition
The total number of visitors to COMNEXT (cbw-expo.jp) was approximately 13,000.
Many people from overseas visited Hakusan booth.
At the booth, there was particularly a lot of interest in the "GrinEB Connector," multifiber optical connector with liquid immersion cooling that was being exhibited for the first time in the world.
The recent spread of cloud services and generative AI has led to a dramatic increase in data traffic, which has led to an increase in the energy load required to cool servers and other equipment in data centers.
For this reason, immersion cooling technology, which cools server equipment by directly immersing it in a refrigerant liquid, has attracted attention as a technology that holds the key to reducing power consumption in data centers due to its excellent energy-saving performance.

The number of visitors far exceeded expectations, and staff were often kept busy trying to cope with the crowds.
