ANGA COM 2026 Exhibition Report – European Telecom Market Trends and New Connections and Opportunities –

Hakusan Inc., Ltd. exhibited for the first time at ANGA COM 2026, one of Europe's largest broadband and telecommunications exhibitions and international conferences, held in Cologne, Germany from May 19th to 21st, 2026.
About ANGA COM
ANGA COM is Europe's leading business platform in the broadband, media, and connectivity sectors, bringing together network operators, telecom vendors, equipment and component manufacturers, and media-related companies for an international trade show. According to official announcements, ANGA COM 2026 attracted approximately 20,000 attendees from over 80 countries and featured around 450 exhibitors, making it a highly international and influential event.

This was Hakusan 's first time exhibiting at ANGA COM. Up until now, we have mainly participated in exhibitions focused on data centers and data communications, but this exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to directly interact with European telecom operators and FTTH-related companies.

Exhibits introduced at the Hakusan booth
At Hakusan booth at ANGA COM 2026, we showcased products and solutions that can be applied to future telecom networks, based on Multifiber optical connection technology we have cultivated in the data center market.
Specifically, we exhibited the following products and technologies:
- High-precisionMT Ferrule
We will be exhibiting MT Ferrule compatible with 12-Fiber, 16-Fiber, 24-Fiber, and 32-Fiber designs, showcasing the processing precision and quality stability cultivated through many years of mass production. - MMC connector(miniature multifiber optical connector)
While Singlefiber configurations are currently the mainstream for FTTH applications, there is growing interest in smaller, Multifiber configurations in areas with strict space constraints, such as within central offices, backhaul, and in-device connections. Therefore, this is presented as a future-oriented option. - MPOconnectorand Multifiber optical connection solutions
This presentation will explain MPO connectors, which have a proven track record in data center applications, and Multifiber optical connection technologies that facilitate high-density mounting, such as Push Pull Boots.

The current state of the European FTTH market and the potential for Multifiber in the future.
Through the exhibits and technology presentations described above, we gained many insights into the current state and future prospects of the European FTTH market at ANGA COM.
The reality is that Singlefiber are the mainstream for FTTH applications.
What became clear through this exhibition was the realization that Singlefiber optical fibers are still the mainstream for FTTH applications in Europe.
At the time, Singlefiber configurations were considered the most rational option in most cases. Therefore, there were not as many specific inquiries for multifiber optical connector compared to the data center sector.
Nevertheless, I felt the potential for future growth.
On the other hand, what was impressive was that even amidst these circumstances, forward-looking discussions took place. In discussions with attendees, there were voices sharing the understanding that "Multifiber and high-density networks are unavoidable in the future" from the perspective of addressing future increases in bandwidth demand, network consolidation, and equipment space constraints.
In fact, we are seeing a growing interest in Multifiber optical connections in areas of FTTH networks that are becoming increasingly dense, such as backhaul, central offices, and connection points to data centers. Some companies have shown interest in Hakusan 's MT Ferrule and Multifiber optical connection technology during the technical evaluation phase, with this future vision in mind.
As a first step into the European telecom market
Through this exhibition, we realized that while Hakusan 's name recognition in the European telecommunications sector is not yet very high, we can still gain interest by carefully introducing our technology and track record. Based on the new network and market feedback we received, we will now work to increase our recognition and build trust in Europe over the medium to long term, and explore the possibility of expanding Multifiber optical connection technology we have cultivated in the data center market into the telecommunications sector.
Hakusan will continue to aim to be "a specialized manufacturer of Multifiber optical connections that can be relied upon by any company," and will contribute to the development of the entire optical communications market.
