Hakusan Inc. exhibited for the first time at Interop Tokyo 2025, which was held at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, June 11th to Friday, June 13th, 2025.
Interop Tokyo is one of Japan's largest exhibitions in the field of Internet technology, and this year approximately 500 companies and organizations from Japan and abroad participated, showcasing the latest technologies and business trends.

Purpose and Background of the Exhibit

We exhibited at Interop Tokyo for the first time with the aim of widely disseminating our technological capabilities and product advantages in the optical communications field. In particular, we aimed to create new contact points with industry participants by introducing our multifiber optical connector technology that supports the next-generation communications infrastructure.

Introduction of the exhibit contents

At our booth (7P11), we exhibited cutting-edge optical communication components, including the multifiber optical connector component "MT Ferrule," which boasts the second largest market share in the world, as well as MPO connectors. Visitors showed great interest and praise for the high precision and reliability of our products.

Highlights of the event

Over the three days of the event, Interop Tokyo 2025 was attended by over 130,000 visitors, many of whom stopped by our booth. We received particularly strong interest from companies involved in data centers and communications infrastructure, and were able to receive valuable feedback for future business development.

At this exhibition, the innovative multifiber optical connector technology that supports the next generation communication infrastructure attracted attention. Among them, products such as MPO connectors using the "MT Ferrule" that boasts the second largest market share in the world, Narrow-Pitch MT Ferrule (MTDS®), compact Multifiber connectors MTCT, and φ80µm MT Ferrule were highly praised by visitors.

The highlight of the exhibit, and the one that drew the most interest from visitors, was the expanded beam connector "GrinEB ® Connector." The GrinEB ® Connector is a non-contact multifiber optical connector that is compatible with immersion cooling equipment, and is an innovative product that combines low optical loss with high environmental resistance. In particular, it was developed to achieve Insertion Loss of 0.7 to 1.0 dB for Single-mode / Multimode compatibility, and attracted the attention of many visitors as a new option for optical connections in next-generation data centers that use immersion cooling.

Looking ahead

We will continue to work on further technological innovation and product development, taking advantage of the knowledge and feedback we gained from Interop Tokyo 2025. In addition, we will aim to further expand our market and improve customer satisfaction based on the network we gained through this exhibition.
