Introducing our new product catalogue

Hakusan has just published a new catalog featuring the latest multifiber optical connector products.

The catalog contains details of the high-performance optical connection components we offer, strengthening our product lineup to meet the increasing data traffic demands of the next generation.

Main Features of the New Product

• MT Ferrule
  In addition to 12-Fiber, 16-Fiber, and 24-Fiber, we have newly developed MT Ferrule for multifiber optical connector (MPO connectors) with 32-Fiber-high-precision molding technology allows us to provide low-loss ferrules that are compatible with both Single-mode and Multimode.

• MPO Housing Kit
  Our MPO housing kits use Hakusan's unique high-quality MT Ferrule to achieve highly reliable Multifiber fiber connections. They are available 12-Fiber, 24-Fiber, 16-Fiber / 32-Fiber variations, and are compatible with round cables, oval cables, and bare ribbon type boots, so you can choose the one that suits your needs. They are also available in a wide variety of colors.
  (Standard colors: yellow, green, aqua, magenta)
  
  We offer MT Ferrule and MPO housing kits separately, so you can combine them according to your needs.

• MPO Master Code
  We also provide master cords for measuring the insertion loss of 12-Fiber, 16-Fiber, and 24-Fiber multifiber optical connector, enabling highly accurate insertion loss measurements.

• MTCOMPACT® Slim and Short
  A compact 12-Fiber / 16-Fiber ferrule that is half the thickness and length of a standard MT Ferrule. Ideal for installation in limited spaces. Currently, a connector (MTCT ® connector) that is compatible with this small MT Ferrule is also under development.

• MPO to MPO adapter
  Newly added MPO-MPO adapters are available to meet various optical connection needs, with or without flanges.

• MT-MPO Adapter
  Two types of MT-MPOs (Vertical Type/Horizontal Type) are available depending on the optical transceiver housing design. They are compatible with 12-Fiber / 24-Fiber or 16-Fiber MT/MPO connectors.

• Small diameter MT Ferrule (12-Fiber / 16-Fiber)
  Hakusan 's newly developed small-diameter MT Ferrule has a fiber hole diameter of φ80µm and is compatible with fibers with a cladding diameter of 80µm. This ferrule has a pitch of 250µm, making it compatible with regular MT Ferrule. This allows for smooth connection with existing infrastructure.

• Metal pin clamp and other accessories
  We also offer a wide range of accessories, including metal pin clamps, which are essential for Multifiber optical connections.
  You can choose the type of pinkeeper that best suits your application, such as the Box type pinkeeper for MPO connectors and the Flat type pinkeeper for optical transceiver MT harnesses.
  Straight pins (tapered on both ends) for connecting MT clips are also available.

These new products will play a vital role in the multifiber optical connector market, where demand is expected to grow further as artificial intelligence and big data become more widely used.
